The Louisa County Transfer Station accepts all waste products that can legally be disposed of at landfills. Other accepted items are recycled through various sources. There is a fee for disposal of most items:

| Paints, pesticides, cleaning products, etc. should be used, given to someone who can use them or saved for a Hazardous Materials Collection Day.
