Atlatl Workshop

How to register: call 319-523-8381 or email lccb@lccb.org Step back thousands of years and try your hand at making and using an atlatl or spear-thrower. Atlatls were used for hunting around the world before the advent of the bow and arrow. The afternoon includes making and fletching two simple, non-lethal spears, and a simple wooden atlatl. All materials and instruction will be provided. Kids age 10 and up as well as adults are welcome, Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
