Hunting Areas The Louisa County Conservation Board currently has five areas, with a total of 2,096 acres, that are open to public hunting. These areas contain a variety of habitat, ranging from wetland and marsh areas for duck hunting, to open grass and prairie areas for pheasant, and also upland oak-hickory forest for wild turkey and deer.
