Youth Ice Fishing Clinic

 

Date: Saturday, January 31, 2009

Time: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Who: Youth of all ages;  12 and under must be accompanied by an adult

Location: Langwood Education Center & Camp  (Map to Langwood)

Cost: $5/family

Additional information: Register by January 31 and get in the drawing for a Jakes pocket knife!

 

            Kids will learn all about ice fishing and safety on the ice, plus have a chance to catch some fish through the ice.  Participants will also get to make their own ice fishing pole to use and take home.  Prizes will be awarded for the most fish caught, the biggest fish, the smallest fish and much more.  No child will leave without a prize! 

           The cost for the program is $5/family and includes a National Wild Turkey Federation Jakes (youth) membership for each child.  Lunch, drinks and hot cocoa are also provided. 

Please bring a mug for hot cocoa and wear plenty of warm clothes.    

         This program is sponsored by Louisa County Conservation and the Louisa Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). It is part of the NWTF Jakes youth program.
