Note: Friday, July 18 – Summer Rec Fieldtrip for older
kids. 9:00 AM – Noon
Summer Rec is a free program open to all children entering
first grade and up. Children will play at “Survivor” style games, work in
groups, solve problems, and play games such as “Trail the Popcorn Fiend” and
“Melt the Glacier”. Each day the children will be given fun challenges to
complete and play group games such as “Blob”, “Dragon” and “Everybody’s It”.
Older kids will also learn outdoor skills such as fire building and how to use
GPS units.

Summer Rec is organized and run by the Louisa County
Conservation Board with funding from the Morning Sun City Council.
